AI Really Thinks We Are Stupid, Doesn’t It? An “AI Race” or “AI Lullaby”?
Everybody wants to rule the world. A few tears for fears.
Are we lazy?
Maybe. Maybe not.
One thing is certain, though — we love to save time if we can. We readily embrace artificial intelligence tools because we believe they can make us more productive, or at least, feel more productive.
If we hesitate to use the tools because we fear being replaced by them sooner rather than later, our employers might decide for us. They want us to use the tools for productivity and cost savings. And it’s challenging to resist using these tools, especially when our coworkers quickly embrace them.
So, we are not lazy; we are smart. We ensure we stay ahead by leveraging the newest and latest AI tools.
But after increasingly dealing with AI chatbots, AI-generated emails, and AI translations, I seriously believe our approach isn’t smart.
If we continue to blindly adopt these tools at the current rate without understanding them, AI will undoubtedly replace us.
Not because AI will be smarter than us but because AI is rapidly making us dumber and… lazy.
